ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CEDA's Economic and Community Development Department provides technical
assistance to North-Central Idaho city government, county government, and
community service organizations in the areas of:
- regional and local comprehensive planning;
- project and program development and implementation.
CEDA staff offers professional services that include:
- facilitation;
- grant writing;
- grant administration.
CEDA seeks to assist with projects and programs that support, enhance and
improve community life. Projects involve:
- economic improvements and diversification;
- transportation;
- water and sewer infrastructure;
- telecommunication;
- affordable housing;
- community, senior and youth centers;
- power;
- emergency response facilities and equipment;
- recreation;
- pre-disaster and post-disaster mitigation.
CEDA works collaboratively with public funding and service agencies and
organizations to meet the identified needs of north-central Idaho
